I've been too occupied to update my blog these days. Life has just been, wonderful....I guess it's true when they say, "Good things come to those who wait". I feel blessed, thank You Allah.. Right now, all I think about is to be happy and being around friends really cheers me up every single time. I feel so free now!
Lets start with new year updates shall we? So the countdown for 2012 was celebrated with the drumheads.. My lovely BE mates. We actually spent the whole night together and I reached home at like 7+am? It's my first time allowed to come home that late, and it was an awesome experience.. Especially since I'm so used to sleeping early everyday. The night was filled with percussion performances at Marina Barrage, then we at Marina area with foreigners around us literally shouting and screaming, welcoming the new year. It was stuffy but fun though. Then we all just headed to Bugis for some shisha and drinking (I did not drink though). It was just a pleasant night filled with smiles and laughter..
Next it was a nice meetup/catch up with the RP besties, Dainah, Ray and Zhafran. It was just a simple meetup for lunch at Fish & Co, and then we pooled at Pomo. Though it was short.. I really liked it cause I love love them and they make me happy <3
Alright, next up will be the Social Night event with Ifwat. I felt quite happy to be invited to such an honourable event. It was my first time attending a formal night and it was definitely a nice experience. I met new people there, a couple of people who are from the same school. Just interacting with the people and the ambiance was just nice.. I also kinda felt fuzzy and warm inside looking at all the fine young gentlemen wearing their smart attire. It's not everyday that you see Singaporean guys looking all dressed and smart. So, thanks Ifwat for the invitation.
A few days back, I finally got to meet my girls.. Like after a few months, perhaps a couple.. I miss them soooo much! We just went for a short karaoke session. Please meet up again soon ladies!
And then it was Saturday. Shisha with my favourite people. Fafa, Hakim, Alifah and Fahmi. There were supposed to be more people but everyone ended up ditching us due to work and blablabla the list goes on. And as usual, we headed to Kampung Glam Cafe afterwards for our supper where I had my favourite gado-gado and some of Hakim's Roti John Beef Cheese or something like that. Mmmm mmm mmmm.
And today was just finally some quality time I spent with myself, roaming about Tampines.
SO THAT'S IT! I know this has been a really long entry. But I just wanted to sum up my 2012 so far. It's been good. So yay, I hope things continue to be good for me. Till my next entry, xo <3
